Graduating from the Exotic Animal Training School at Hollywood Animals

Towards the end of the course, you will pick an animal for your training project for graduation. You will prepare an oral presentation about 5 to 10 minutes about that species including the animal's taxonomy, social and breeding behavior. The presentation is then followed by a practical demonstration of the skills and training techniques that you have learned in the class.

You will be graded on how you prepare for the presentation, the content, delivery, and your demonstration. The written exam will be taken prior to graduation. There will also be two other projects, on animal issues and facility critique and or design. Upon passing with a minimum of 75%, students will be given individual referrals and contacts for possible employment. While we do not guarantee placement with these facilities, graduates of our school do receive much greater consideration for employment. Almost all major facilities are seeking people who have had hands on experience with animals, which we have provided.

Upon successful graduation, those that want to continue with Hollywood Animals can apply for our Internship Program. Nearly all of our trainers that currently work for us have taken our courses and completed the internship, others have gone on to other facilities.
