Our Internship Program
Please note that you will not be qualified as a professional animal trainer after taking any of our courses. We offer the first step, the rest is up to you. Internships and volunteering at a Hollywood Animals, (licensed animal facility) will give you practical experience in animal training, handling and husbandry that you need to pursue an animal job or career.
This is why Hollywood Animals offers the Internship Program - so you can further your knowledge and skill.
The Internship is only offered only to our graduates. Acceptance is not guaranteed. It depends on how you succeeded in the course in the following:
• Safety and consistency
• Communication skills
• Quality of work on the ranch
• Ability to get along with the trainers
• Ability to take direction
If you are accepted into the program, you can arrange to come to the ranch one to three days per week from 8 AM to 3 PM, (weekdays or weekends), depending on your schedule.
The internships are for six months, after which you are reevaluated. Your advancement is based on your work.
"Internships" are volunteer programs and are not paid. It is for your benefit, it lets you work with the trainers and animals - one to one.
